Here's the cunning plan from Ali and Neil so far. Please pray for them as they seek God for the way ahead.
Having taken the prayer meeting with Hazel and Louise (children's team) on the 24th of June we plan now to speak to every church member to ask if they would like to get involved - in any capacity - and to ask them to pray and ask God what we should be doing. We're hoping that God will tell a lot of people the same thing!!!
We have started some street outreach work and made contact with some of the young people "hanging around" and will start to build relationships and to find out the type of activities they want to be involved in.
Tentative plans at the moment include - football project, monthly events (youth hour with the boss, trips out, link to SPACE etc). We have also looked at YFC resources - Rock Solid and Mettle - which we may use for a 1 hour youth activity.
