Worship @ Northfield by Andy Hayes and Gill Hayes

Worship at Northfield is a work in progress. We have a committed core of

people who are part of the team but we are aware that there are still those

we need to draw closer. In the last 12 months we’ve seen some fabulous new

worship songs become important to our worship times and we’ve seen

different lead worshippers growing into the role. It has been good to see the

musician’s skills develop and singers gain confidence. It should never be the

finished article; instead it should be constantly being stretched with the aim

of moving closer to God. In the next 12 months we hope to see further

growth within our worship group. We are aiming to provide more structure to

the leaders and their groups to ensure that everybody who would like to be

involved is included on a regular basis. We are also hoping to be working with

some new equipment which will take a while to adjust to but should really

take our sound forward. We are also hoping to develop our style of worship

this year, exploring how we use worship within our meetings. It is an exciting

time for the worship group at the moment so keep us in your prayers.
