UNFORTUNATELY THE CREDIT UNION HAS HAD TO CLOSE AT NORTHFIELD but there is still a branch at St John and St James' each Wednesday.

What is a Credit Union?
A Credit Union is a community bank where members can save and then take out loans a a low interest rate.

Who can join the Bootle Credit Union?
Anyone who lives or works in the Bootle, Litherland, Seaforth area.

How much does it cost to join?
£2.00 a year

How long do you have to save before taking out a loan?
A minimum of 12 weeks.

How much can you loan?
Up to twice the amount of your savings.
When you have been a member for 3 years and repaid 2 loans you can borrow up to 3 times the amount of your savings.

How do I repay the loan?
You pay an agreed amount every week or month.

What is the interest rate?
1% per month on a reducing loan.

Do I have to pay money in at Northfield Church?
